Back in the early 80’s my partner (Mike) and I ran many weekly gay discos in and around Luton and the South East area. Our first venture being at the Tropicana in Luton, where we saw many of the great Hi Energy divas visit and perform for us, including Hazel Dean, Norma Lewis, Divine and many others. We also ran a regular nite at the The Unicorn, Leighton Buzzard and in Southend plus other venues in and around Luton.
We were very fortunate to be around at the beginning of the Hi Energy era then see in the introduction of euro beat and Italo disco.
Much of the Music we played came with the courtesy of the Record Companies in the form of White Label 12" (Promo)
We travelled to Spain a few times a year and brought back many Italian and German imports with us.
Hence my love for Almighty Records who in the beginning managed to recreate many of the High Energy Classics I remembered and then went on to master many of the greatest disco classics since - Now days Almighty Music is my life, I live it – I love it, I listen to it and my collection is getting bigger and bigger…
I would like to share my knowledge on Almighty Music and gain from others; I will eventually list all my music on here
